Senior PHP Developer


Social-Lab is an expert company in providing training, strategy, consulting and execution on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube) for brands/advertisers. It is the most important dedicated Belgian agency, counting more than 30 collaborators.

Social-Lab is looking for a senior and skilled PHP developer (LAMP) to join the development team in Brussels, Belgium.

You will be one of the lead developers, part of a team fully dedicated on an innovative project (linked to Facebook)  to start immediately in startup mode.

Your role will include:

- Web development of a new platform (PHP)
- Architecture definition  
- Backend PHP development: big data logging, user profiling
- Coaching of a small team of junior developers

Desired Skills & Experience:


- Experienced PHP developer

- Very good understanding of modular development (OO)
- Expert in web development, HTML5, jQuery, Ajax…

- Proficient in the use of SVN, Git, IDE’s

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum, unit testing, code reviews

- Experience in working with frameworks (Zend Framework or CodeIgniter)

- Ability to coach a small team of junior PHP developers

- Very good understanding of API’s using XML/JSON
